From an economic wellness perspective, the entire world is experiencing a reset of how life is organized on the planet. For a great majority of the seven billion persons around the world, life is not happy, peaceful, safe nor barely prosperous. But what does this have to do with what causes a recession?

Up until early 2008 most of the world had probably never even heard of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. It was then that the full impact of the problems with the subprime mortgage crisis really began to be felt. The rest, as they say, is history, though in this case there’s still a long way to go before this particular economic crisis is over.
