Though the successive governments have been spending huge sums for poverty alleviation, their efforts seem to have not yielded the desired results. Even during the 11th five year plan, around 35% of the population lives below the poverty line.
How Can the Government Increase It’s Budget?The only answer has, is, and always will be to ‘reduce’ taxes on the ‘rich.’ I feel that there is large portion of those who are ignorant of Economics 101 in Washington D.C. and most State governments. However, I think that I understand how they can be trapped into thinking the first sentence is not true. So, I think it is about time that Obama nation actually fulfill his campaign promise of doing something new, and original, instead of employing the same old failed communist political theories he was brainwashed into believing.
